Medical procedures and services: Olivier Véran sets up the High Council for Nomenclatures

Olivier Véran sets up the High Council of nomenclatures (HCN) in charge of revising the medical procedures and services "to take into account the evolution of practices and medical innovation".
The High Council will be responsible for :
- Proposing a methodology for description and classification ;
- Studying, describing and prioritizing the procedures and services submitted by the National Union of Health Insurance Funds (Uncam) ;
- Reviewing the entire nomenclature in order to simplify it, remove obsolete procedures and add new ones.
This project has a 5-year deadline to be completed.
