HAS: Remote patient monitoring referentials
As part of the general reimbursement of remote patient monitoring planned for 1 July 2022 at the latest, the HAS has today published a reference framework for remote monitoring solutions for each of the following four pathologies covered until now by the ETAPES experimentation: diabetes, chronic heart failure, chronic renal failure and chronic respiratory failure.
These four guidelines will enable manufacturers and healthcare professionals to prepare for the long-term framework by being aware of the technical and organisational requirements adopted by the National Commission for the Evaluation of Medical Devices and Health Technologies (CNEDiMTS).
These guidelines are available at the following link: https://www.has-sante.fr/jcms/p_3311071/fr/telesurveillance-medicale-referentiels-des-fonctions-et-organisations-des-soins
Other work is still to come, in particular the definition of indicators that would allow the evaluation of the achievement of individualised or national results of use in real life, introduced by the LFSS for 2022.
